about

Journeying around Europe in the summer of 2016, I began writing and recording a collection of songs. As much as I was on holiday from the everyday pressures of life, for me it meant I was free to create! I loved every moment, and I hope you enjoy the music this little journey brought into existence.

Song Background...

I find that conflict is often cyclical and pointless, driving us further towards disconnection with one another. If we could just apply a little creativity in those instances, I think we can usually find ways to emerge with deeper connections with one another.

lyrics

Shadow waits to strike
Let’s keep it in the daylight
Fall in love again
Heart out in the headlights

Feeling vein inside
Enough to start a fight
A test of metal or
A feather in full flight

One wound for another
Spreading scars like sickness in the air
Tethered and torn by the pain we wear
I don’t want to wake up
No I don’t want to let you down
It’s looking like a warning sign
Every time the morning comes

In my stead I wait
Thursday night was just a game
You can call again
I’ve got ammo to defend

Was it fear or faith?
When all this did begin
It’s all over now
We’re too callous to contend
